Advancing Electrochromic Technology: Overcoming Challenges in Flexible Electrochromic Devices

Electrochromic technology has advanced significantly, showing great potential as an energy-saving solution. Recently, flexible electrochromic devices have gained attention for their role in flexible electronics. The field has shifted from single-function devices to multifunctional systems. Overcoming current challenges requires novel materials with enhanced functionalities and innovative fabrication techniques. This review covers both traditional and cutting-edge electrochromic materials and devices, addressing the challenges in fabricating flexible systems.
