Biologic Labral Augmentation
摘要
Failure rates of arthroscopic Bankart repair are still too high. The role of soft tissues is usually underestimated compared to bone defects. It has been shown that glenoid labral morphology plays a role in recurrent instability. Labral augmentation by using a collagen membrane aims to close the gap between an arthroscopic Bankart repair and bone block procedures. Labral augmentation aims to restore the anatomy when the main issue is the labral insufficiency.
