Shoulder instability is a frequent problem in the daily practice of shoulder surgery. In recent studies, it has been shown that operative management is required even in the first-time anterior dislocation. Therefore, the incidence of the recurrent instability and iatrogenic lesions have increased with the increasing number of surgeries. In depth review of the literature in this chapter is made to further understand the factors that lead to iatrogenic lesions.
