Les interactions humain-animal dans la nouvelle littérature suisse romande : un héritage (ré)assumé ?
摘要
Over the past two decades, Swiss-French literature has opened up to new directions that engage with transnational contemporary concerns. Themes such as conflicting memories, family dynamics, and the outcomes of the Anthropocene have become increasingly central. A range of narratives explores transformations in rural life and evolving relationships between humans, animals, and the environment. This chapter examines such human-animal interactions in three recent works by French-Swiss authors, all published over the past twenty years: Le silence des abeilles (2009) by Daniel de Roulet, Parti voir les bêtes (2016) by Anne-Sophie Subilia, and Faire paysan (2023) by Blaise Hofmann. This contribution aims to analyze emerging forms of power and agency in human-non-human relations, while also tracing key literary developments.
