In this chapter, we aim to provide a more in-depth presentation of the previously mentioned survey systems for horizontal development: NEO-PI-R (Angleitner & Ostendorf, 2004) and Reflector Big Five (Schakel et al., 2007). These presentations will then allow us to clearly illustrate the connections between horizontal and vertical methods.
