This chapter provides further practical guidance for sustainable weight loss: a food diary, the established “tool” for successfully implementing dietary changes. The food diary becomes even more insightful and self-revealing when it is expanded to include enjoyment and emotional experiences. For this purpose, a double-page table is provided for entering and recording numerous parameters over the course of a week, helping to develop a heightened awareness of more mindful eating behavior in the medium to long term. This practical table can be copied and used multiple times in everyday life.
