Consideration of Life Phase Effects
摘要
Due to the cross-sectional design of the present study, in which generation, age, and career stage are inextricably linked, these effects cannot be analyzed separately. However, a descriptive look is taken at differences in professional experience and family situation—particularly the presence of children in the household—between the generations studied. The results of the previous chapters are discussed in this context. It is considered to what extent the absence of detectable differences might indicate possible overlaps due to so-called period effects, which reflect societal changes in attitudes.
