Research-Led Approaches to Chronic Care Science
摘要
The aim of this article is to present ethnographically oriented research approaches for the field of Chronic Care, based on the challenges of research in the context of chronic diseases and the associated inter- and transdisciplinary research understanding. Through the categorical approach (disease-specific factors and health-related interventions), everyday and lifeworld aspects become accessible to research via the perspectives of a non-categorical approach. Participation and co-creation with those affected are essential features of an inter- and transdisciplinary research understanding. As examples, real-world laboratories, participatory research, research related to disease progression and life phases, as well as the cultural approach, are presented.
