The diagnosis of fascial distortions (referred to as FDM diagnosis) is based on clinical criteria. Based on detailed knowledge of the six fascial distortions and the fascial distortion model, a working diagnosis can be developed, which in turn forms the basis for the application of the Typaldos method in a wide variety of symptom patterns.
