摘要

In a time of increasing noise contamination and rapid silencing, which make change and even multiple crises audible, human listening behaviour and music research have to face challenges. Anthrophony threatens to become more dominant than bio- and geophony. The resulting limited acoustic diversity of soundscapes could lead to an increased decline in human closeness to nature and to cross-species multiple crises. The article, which is based on multispecies ethnography and multispecies ethnomusicology and supplemented by qualitative interviews, presents the theory of careful listening and examines the dangers of failing to critically rethink the Western understanding of music and the lack of sensitisation efforts. Unterfranken is chosen as a case study, from which various agents are given a voice in relation to future music.
