Algorithm, Algorithmisation, Algorithmics
摘要
This second chapter is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the historical and intellectual foundations of algorithmisation. It begins by tracing the various stages in the development of algorithmic thought and action. The author then delves deeper into the conceptual understanding of algorithms in natural and artificial systems, analysing how outsourcing algorithmics to artefacts changes cultural techniques. Finally, algorithmic ethics is systematised in terms of media philosophy and summarised in an interim conclusion. The second part builds on this analysis to explore the ethos of algorithmisation and outline the normative orientation of algorithmics.
