The Smaller (or More Confused) the Mind, the More Concrete must be the Image of God and Certainty
摘要
This chapter discusses the various attitudes and basic beliefs about faith and how religion affects the individual. It explores the benefits believers derive from their faith, through which they gain orientation, guidelines, and support, but also where they feel constrained and patronized by religion and, in the worst case, develop “religious neuroses”. A typology of believers is presented—from credulous and reflective to compulsively anxious and dogmatically know-it-all, to church haters or skeptics and agnostics. Then, you will find a small faith test (focus on Christianity) in the chapter.
