Only in recent years have the German Society for Analytical Psychology and group analysts working within it dealt in depth with the question of how Jungian psychoanalysis and its sometimes long-standing group practice can be conceptually thought together. From this initiative, several symposia, a congress, many articles, and several joint books have emerged so far. It became clear that the well-known concepts of group analysis, such as that of Foulkes, but also the psychology of Erich Neumann, are quite compatible with modern group analytical concepts. Further activities are being planned.
