The Right Daily Leadership Behavior
摘要
This chapter explores common, everyday leadership interactions, such as when team members seek a manager’s input on a concept or decision. Through examples, it highlights four distinct leadership roles that managers can adopt in their responses: Boss, Partner, Coach, and Enabler. The chapter emphasizes that effective leaders adjust their role and behavior on the leadership context, understanding that no single style works universally. Instead, successful leadership hinges on knowing one’s team, understanding the situation, and clearly communicating an adaptive idea of leadership that fosters a strong leader–team relationship.
