Reflective Essay
摘要
One of the clearest statements about the lifespan of social learning comes from Rousseau and is from his classic book on education, Emile. The first sentence of the book describes the developmental path from birth: “God makes everything good; man disturbs them, and they become angry.” (Rousseau 1762/2006, p. 5). A few pages later, he wrote the research plan for the social sciences: “There is no original sin in the human heart, the how and why of every vice can be traced.”
