Anesthesia in Port Procedures
摘要
Various types of anesthesia are available for the implantation and explantation of port systems, Hickman and Broviac catheters, as well as for their replacement or correction. In addition to conventional general anesthesia, local anesthetic techniques can be employed, accompanied by procedural sedation and analgesia. Regardless of which anesthetic method the patient chooses, a thorough preoperative anesthesiological evaluation and medical history are essential.
