Economic Aspects of Port Procedures in Outpatient and Inpatient Settings
摘要
Central venous catheters are playing an increasingly important role in oncology and nutritional medicine, particularly benefiting oncology patients who gain long-term advantages from port catheters. These devices improve patients' quality of life and offer them the greatest possible freedom of movement for their daily activities. While the significance of ports is widely recognized, there remains the challenge of implementing this surgical procedure efficiently and cost-effectively in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This chapter aims to examine several key aspects related to this issue.
