Snails and slugs form a natural part of the animal world in our garden. Thankfully though, we have been blessed with only a few of the latter ones. They are hardly ever seen in the flower garden, and also in the vegetable patch, I could discover but a few. And as we don’t grow lettuce, which would most certainly attract them, I can’t see any bite marks on our vegetables either.
