This week has already brought the first frost. The next full moon is just around the corner, so the weather is still going to get a bit brighter and colder, but for now we are enjoying a few more frost-free days with the last mosquitos dancing in the sunlight, and flies and wasps basking on the warm bricks, while the last peacock and red admiral butterflies are searching for one last sip of nectar and a sheltered place to pass the winter.
