Management of Sustainability—From Strategy to Operations
摘要
This chapter outlines the framework that transfers the systematic derivation of sustainability goals into operational business. First, the conditions to be met are shown, which define the scope of action. Then it is shown how this process can be planned top-down. Strategic decisions define the scope for the entire company. They determine which goals should be pursued individually. These form the basis for tactical decisions that detail the process to selected business areas and areas of action. Finally, in the operational phase, the immediate transfer and implementation into daily lived practice takes place. These three levels shape the character and determine the potentials of sustainability for the company. The broader the process is anchored in the company, the more sustainable the acceptance of the results will be.
