Crisis staffs as special organizations for extraordinary events are proven as a leadership tool in many organizations. A staff supports the person who decides in a crisis situation. It uses specific structures and processes. Crisis staff work provides structured information management, cross-departmental coordination, and advice for managers or decision-makers.
