Health-oriented leadership is an important resource for employee health. But what happens to health-oriented leadership in crisis situations? Not only has the Corona pandemic clearly shown the challenges that come with crisis situations. While the health of employees is threatened in crises, managers often lack the necessary resources to protect employee health. Moreover, it is conceivable that the positive effect of health-oriented leadership is overshadowed by a crisis and fizzles out ineffectively. The research results show that the extent of health-oriented leadership actually decreases in crises but also that health-oriented employee leadership in crisis situations is particularly important and decisive for employee health. At the end of the chapter, concrete recommendations for action are given, which are suitable to derive health-oriented leadership in crisis situations.
