Apparently, it primarily depends on the insights and knowledge of how manipulations in daily life are to be identified and diagnosed as such. Building on a previous model that outlined “manipulation as a system,” an attempt should be made, on the one hand, to expand and utilize this systematics for differential psychological purposes, and on the other hand, to find suitable behavioral patterns based on this system, which may be used as signals and indications of manipulative behavior in everyday situations for later applications in practice. Not to be forgotten are also manipulative processes that occur within a system and follow their own rules and mechanisms, as is the case, for example, in various games.
