Without claiming completeness, the motivation for attachment, as it was once conceptualized in McClelland’s motivation model, should be added. In connection with the topic of attachment motivation, the interest was in helpfulness, or generally social or altruistic behavior, as well as the counterpart to altruism, namely egoism, and finally group dynamics, which were addressed within the framework of small group research to round off this complex of topics.
