Creativity in Social Interactions and Relationships
摘要
Studies of creativity in the social milieu are likely to cause astonishment among many people. This is easy to understand, as our understanding of creativity fundamentally pertains to entirely different domains, such as art or science, where either “genius” or inventiveness is required. As will be shown, creativity can be helpful in developing an understanding of the concerns of our fellow human beings, as well as in the resulting reactions or activities, which affect both attitudes and appreciations as well as the more emotional behavioral traits. Finally, social behavior “in all its breadth” and on many levels should aim to develop appropriate manners for situations and to invest in the stability and quality of our social relationships, to which creativity can also contribute. It should also not be ignored that creativity sometimes requires a “social echo,” which is usually something like the public or “public opinion.”
