Incision Techniques in Ophthalmic Surgery
摘要
In order to perform peri- and intraocular surgery, the most precise planning possible is required. What is the goal of the procedure and what interventions may still be necessary in the further course? These questions must be asked before every operation, but especially when operating in the area of the ocular surface. Through various incisions, the surgeon can gain access to the anterior segment of the eye (anterior chamber). For this, it is also necessary to have already undertaken a thorough thought process regarding the course of the operation with a clear definition of the objective of the surgical procedure.
