The focus of this chapter is on the imaging of the optic disc with the slit lamp, usually through a +90 D fundus lens. Both congenital changes (micropapilla, coloboma, optic disc drusen) as well as vascular and inflammatory pathologies are shown, in addition to various manifestations of papilledema of different origins. Especially in unilateral processes, the swinging flashlight test—here in a standardized form for slit lamp videography—can repeatedly demonstrate an RAPD. The comparison with other examinations (visual field, MRI, VEP) is given broad space. Above all, for OCT diagnostics, it should be noted that large amounts of data are produced, the volume and special format of which are increasingly challenging us.
