Chronic Coronary Syndrome
摘要
Coronary heart disease (CHD) is characterized by atherosclerotic changes in the epicardial coronary arteries, which can lead to regional hypoperfusion of the myocardial sections supplied by the affected coronary artery. The clinical manifestation of the chronic course of atherosclerosis and the associated dynamic process of CHD is described by the chronic coronary syndrome (CCS). Typical clinical symptoms of CCS include angina pectoris symptoms. Furthermore, dyspnea, signs of heart failure, and the occurrence of cardiac arrhythmias may indicate myocardial ischemia. Specific therapy for CHD in patients with CCS includes lifestyle modification, drug therapy, and myocardial revascularization through percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) or bypass surgery.
