There are many possibilities for process analysis and description. Various methods for process analysis are presented and evaluated in this chapter. This includes standard methods for supply chain and production, such as the value stream method or supply chain reference models, and general approaches, such as the flowchart presented and evaluated regarding their suitability for process analysis. From the various approaches, a comprehensive method for the efficient analysis of processes in the supply chain and production is developed and described.
