With the help of a case study, the therapist will be shown how the individual therapy concept described in this manual can be applied in practice. First of all, information is provided about the symptoms, medical history and life history of a patient with multiple persistent somatic symptoms. Then a behavioral analysis of the present patient example is described. Finally, the therapy goals are derived and the course of therapy and the therapy result are described. Elements of this case presentation can also serve as orientation for the preparation of a report for the therapy application to a German health insurance company.
