Intellektuelle Tugenden als Basis einer forschenden Grundhaltung in der Lehrkräfteausbildung
摘要
Since the introduction of the practical semester for student teachers in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2014, the element of research-based learning has been crucial for the professionalization of future teachers. This article argues that a narrow focus on the job-specific skills to be learned is not enough to teach research-based learning and a research-based attitude. Fundamental character traits, such as intellectual virtues, are required in order to be able to reliably learn through research. The extent to which intellectual virtues – based on Jason Baehr’s theory of Virtue Epistemology (VE) – can enable inquiry-based learning by teachers of philosophy is the subject of this article.
