Having dealt with fluids at rest, we now turn our attention to the dynamics of flowing fluids. We start with a description of flows and their classification into laminar and turbulent flows, before we try to explain these in later sections. We will introduce friction, discuss drag and eventually the dynamic buoyancy and the Magnus-effect on rotating bodies.
