The anatomically complex hearing organ is the sense that can be best stabilized through surgical interventions. This chapter presents the various hearing aids in diagnostic imaging using numerous X-ray, MRI, and CT images. In particular, it focuses on conventional hearing aids, but also cochlear, middle ear, and brainstem implants, as well as bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHA: “bone anchored hearing aid”). An accidentally left in the ear canal hearing protection is also occasionally found in imaging. Lastly, ear prostheses are presented.
