This chapter highlights a significant problem in imaging diagnostics: the superimposition of important findings, which may necessitate a repeat of the examination and an unnecessary radiation exposure for the patient. This problem can be prevented by removing jewelry and clothing with buttons, metallic components, rhinestones, etc., and emptying the patient’s pockets before the X-ray examination. If a bed examination is planned, the bed should be searched for objects that could be in the examination area.
