Each layer in this architecture has different strengths and weaknesses. Layer 1, while having high true positive rates, also has more false positives. Layer 2 has a reduced false positive rate, but also a lower true positive rate. The fused third layer uses the weighted decision-making process and has a true positive rate just below Layer 1 but with a consistently higher are under the curve. This chapter further discusses possible future work based on the weaknesses identified.
