Vibration Resistance Assessment of the Innovative Planetary Gearbox for the Ball Mill Drive in Cement Production
摘要
The vibration resistance of the drive is the ability of its design to withstand vibrations. The occurrence of vibrations in the drive of the ball mill induces additional variable stress in its structural elements, leading to their fatigue failure. Particularly dangerous is the resonance mode of the installed planetary gearbox, when the frequency of the disturbing force matches the natural frequency of an element of this mechanical system. As a result, the stress in the structural elements increases significantly, determined primarily not by the external load, but by the inertial forces of the oscillating masses.
