A Sense of Place
摘要
I return to Cecilia’s house in the city of Ancud and our conversation next to the window on the day of her fiftieth birthday. With the view of the sea in the distance, we talked at length about her work at the school, the ecological transformation of Quepi, her family history and the changes in the island’s mode of life. Intertwined with her account of ecological workshops for the students or environmental initiatives in the area, many clues about attachment and rootedness seem to emerge.
