Similarly, the “human dimension” of international cultural heritage law has made continuous developments—both in academic scholarship and in the law. The human dimension of cultural heritage protection is multifaceted and, broadly speaking, refers to the unifying narrative that cultural heritage is protected for itself and for its relationship to people, as individuals or groups.
