This chapter provides a literature overview on differences in decision-making between independent entrepreneurs and corporate managers, with a focus on decisions under risk and uncertainty, status quo bias, loss aversion, overconfidence, and overoptimism. The existing findings are not always consistent, due to both differing definitions of the decision determinants and varying operationalizations of the subject groups of entrepreneurs and managers.
