The chapter presents the empirical results of a qualitative exploratory study, examining five distinct forms of collaboration between established firms and startups. It analyzes the relationship between entrepreneurs and the corporate firm, applying agency theory and new institutional economics as theoretical frameworks. The findings indicate that the decision context of corporate entrepreneurs differs from that of both independent entrepreneurs and corporate managers.
