This chapter provides a comparative analysis of stakeholder influence on higher education policy in the cases of this study, Ireland and Spain. The chapter builds upon the findings derived for the analyses of interviews on the cases of Ireland and Spain, respectively, presented in chapters 6 and 7 of this book. The chapter's objective is twofold: firstly, to provide a comparative analysis of the stakeholders' influence on the higher education policy cases; and secondly, to enhance the reliability and fidelity of the intermediate conclusions from the interviews through the use of descriptive statistics and thus triangulating the information on the cases as depicted by Morin et al. (2021).
