The “PARS” project (Pandemic Resilient Styria) was carried out as a result of a funded contract research by the state of Styria and the Styrian Chamber of Labor. The aim was to identify resilience factors in society and how social participation manifests itself in different life worlds during a crisis. The relevance of the topic was given due to the prevailing SARS-CoV-2 pandemic at that time. Furthermore, the clients hoped to derive potential improvements and actions for future crises, so that resilience in the population can be promoted by the government and the use of necessary resources. Since the life worlds of the Styrian population look very different and individuals face different challenges depending on their life situation, the perspective of adolescents, families, NGOs, and companies was also collected in the project.
