System noise, also known as process noise, is an abstract quantity that represents inaccuracies in modeling. Thus, it is not actual noise, but rather a theoretical quantity that describes these modeling inaccuracies. In line with the approach in Chapter 2.5 for determining the input matrix \(B_d\) in the discrete-time domain, several methods for determining the quantities \(\underline{G}_d\) and \(\underline{G}_{\,d} \!\cdot \! \underline{Q}(k) \!\cdot \! \underline{G}_{\,d}^T\) are presented.

摘要

System noise, also known as process noise, is an abstract quantity that represents inaccuracies in modeling. Thus, it is not actual noise, but rather a theoretical quantity that describes these modeling inaccuracies. In line with the approach in Chapter 2.5 for determining the input matrix \(B_d\) in the discrete-time domain, several methods for determining the quantities \(\underline{G}_d\) and \(\underline{G}_{\,d} \!\cdot \! \underline{Q}(k) \!\cdot \! \underline{G}_{\,d}^T\) are presented.
