Opening Doors with Psychological Approaches
摘要
How can psychological effects be purposefully and responsibly harnessed to open doors—for dialogue, trust, and shared goals? In this chapter, I demonstrate how psychological principles can be effectively applied to engage people and build genuine connections. Methods such as the chameleon effect, trust-building, or the deliberate activation of curiosity are based on deeply rooted behavioral patterns and can be intentionally activated to inspire conversations, strengthen trust, and initiate joint action. Using concrete examples from my consulting practice, I show how small, well-placed impulses can have a significant impact. Those who consciously apply these approaches create new opportunities for collaboration, strengthen the foundation of communication, and encourage others to take responsibility and support ambitious projects—driven by their own inner conviction. These principles can be purposefully transferred to various contexts—wherever people are to be engaged in something new.
