Crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine conflict have significantly impacted global economic systems. For instance, the COVID-19 pandemic led to lockdowns and restrictions that severely disrupted global supply chains, resulting in shortages of goods and business closures (Ivanov and Dolgui, 2020). Similarly, the Russia-Ukraine conflict has had severe economic consequences, particularly by affecting energy supplies and the delivery of raw materials, especially grain and metals.
