The questions that lead throughout the project were addressing the social role of Salafi actors within the contemporary Bosnian society: 1. Are Salafi stakeholders in BIH covering social welfare functions? 2. How does the social commitment of these stakeholders influence the movement’s perception within the Bosnian Society? 3. How has the relation between the Salafi scene and the Islamic Community changed over time? 4. Ho do people who fulfil or recieve these social services personally consider their role in a democratically consituted society? 5. What is the role of women within the Salafi community of BiH and how do the services (online and offline) Salafi actors provide in the urban area of the municipaliy Novi Grad (Sarajevo) impact women’s life?
