The chapter presents and discusses the data gathered during my empirical field research in Kano, as well as other relevant sources, as explained in the previous chapter. It is also significant to recall that I employed the “criterion-based selection technique”. I selected my participants because they possess characteristics relevant to the study’s central questions.
