Content Reflection and Synthesis
摘要
In the concluding section, the aim is to summarize the central thread of this book, to focus on the relationship between humans and architecture from a sociological and corporeal-phenomenological perspective, to establish a substantive connection between the empirical study and the theoretical perspectives, and to undertake further analytical considerations. Special attention in the analysis is given to the Philosophical Anthropology of Helmuth Plessner and the New Phenomenology of Hermann Schmitz as the two defining perspectives of this work, although additional theoretical viewpoints are also incorporated into the analysis. The presentation of results is carried out through a comparative view of the two interior spaces studied. The substantive reflection and synthesis of the work centers, on a microsociological level, on corporeal experiential and perceptual spaces. Here, self-world relationships, atmospheres as compelling spatial feelings, and spaces of building culture (experience) are at the core of the analytical perspective. On the level of social analysis, the architecture of society, its form, and corporeal disposition are first focused upon, followed by the self-world relationship(s) of the two libraries as spaces and places in contemporary modernity.
