Based on insights into the role of language in physical education and the results of an exploratory study on linguistic interactions in football training, this article presents casework as a means of raising awareness among pedagogical professionals in the context of sports. The focus is on identifying the linguistic demands of physical education and extracurricular sports activities, as well as learning about principles that promote language acquisition.
