The aim of this chapter is to provide an overview of the use of IT-supported tools in talent management and to define key terms and models relevant to the empirical study. Section 4.1 first explains the conceptual and terminological foundations of talent management. The following Section 4.2 presents and discusses HR practices in the context of digitalized talent management.
